Parsley Tea

Lyme People,
I am one too!
I didn't know that I was just like you!
When I saw you the other day,
and tried to help you put your groceries away,
I said a little prayer...
Thanking God up in heaven
that I had other worries,
and asked him to send you
some of my blessings.
And then I asked, "that it would never be me"
but here I sit, a Lyme girl,
Drinking Parsley tea.

Parsley Tea Recipe:

1 ]  Fill a small saucepan with warm water and set the pan on your stove. Turn the stove to medium-high heat.

2 ]  Bring the water to a rolling boil.

3 ]  Measure out a quarter cup of fresh parsley and place it in a mug. Do this while you wait for the water to boil.

4 ]  Pour one cup of boiling water over the fresh parsley leaves you've put in the mug. Leave the water and parsley to steep for 5 minutes.

5 ]  Remove the parsley leaves from the mug. Use a slotted spoon or dump the contents into a strainer placed over a small bowl. If you use a strainer, transfer the strained tea back into the mug.

6 ]  Discard the parsley leaves and enjoy your mug of tea immediately.
